A project by Hevel Group to build hybrid distributed generation based on heterojunction solar modules has been granted national project status by the Russian Energy Ministry’s working group on the selection of national projects in the energy sector.
The project will develop cost-effective system solutions for distributed and local generation, based on hybrid power plants with high-efficiency HJT solar modules that are ready to replicate and easy to integrate into the unified national energy system.
The project includes a program for the construction of more than 100 hybrid solar diesel power plants by 2021. The new plants will help to ensure uninterrupted and reliable power supply to the residents of isolated parts of the country using solar energy.
