Hevel Group Completes Construction of Two Solar Power Plants in Orenburg Region (Russia)

Construction work has finished on two 10 MW solar power plants in the Orenburg region of Russia. A launch ceremony took place on the sidelines of the official start of the region’s Ecology Day.

Work on both solar power plants started in July 2016 and was completed at the end of 2016. 70 percent of the power station equipment meets Russian local content requirements.

Hevel’s first 5 MW PV power station in Orenburg region - Perevolotskaya - was completed in May 2015 and commissioned in November of that year, since when it has generated more than 5,500 MWh of electricity. The total installed capacity operated by Hevel Group in Orenburg region has now reached 25 MW.

Hevel Group has committed to building and commissioning six solar power plants in Orenburg region with a total installed capacity of 140 MW by the end of 2019.
