Russia’s largest PV cell and module manufacturer Hevel Group and Hungarian Jarlene Energy KFT reached a preliminary agreement to develop joint solar power projects totaling 76.6 МВт. Companies agreed to complete the deal till the end of this year.
In accordance with preliminary terms and conditions Hevel Group will secure financing for construction and commissioning of solar power plants, will also supply heterojunction solar panels and provide EPC works.
Earlier Hevel has started shipments of its new product line to Europe and some Asian regions. In 2019 Hevel entered one of the largest CIS’s solar markets Kazakhstan, committed to construct 238 MW of solar power till 2022.
“We are pleased to have concluded agreement with Hevel Group to build 76.6 MW in Hungary which no doubt will contribute to Hungary’s energy transition to renewables, says Jarlene Energy General Counsel Aram Spartalian. “Hevel and our company have many things in common in terms of manufacturing and solar projects and this, I believe, is the beginning of a long term cooperation between our two entities.”
